Thanks to the Unova League Cameron has become my most hated character in the entire Pokémon franchise. The guy is a gigantic moron that gets away with so many dumb mistakes that, had any other trainer made them, they would have probably died before reaching their first Gym. And then Cameron goes on and beats Ash despite having one pokemon less and despite being freaking incompetent at battling (during his battle with Ash he sends out a pokemon with a double disadvantage to Ash's pokemon's type not once but twice). The only reason Cameron won is because of his stupid Mary Sue Riolu who was already somehow very OP, and then the stupid Riolu Sue goes and evolves into Lucario Sue and singlehandedly sweeps half of Ash's team and wins the battle for his stupid brain damaged trainer.

Even though Virgil went on to beat that effing Lucario Sue with Flareon oh so satisfyingly burning that shit I still wasn't happy. Because Cameron should NOT have been in the Unova League at all, let alone place as high as he did. I hope Cameron's Lucario Sue gets beat to a pulp by every other Lucario in the world.

I hoped that the N arc would make things better but sadly, it didn't. Team Plasma get downgraded from the intriguing shades-of-grey team they were in the game and become stereotypical villains (seriously, the writers might as well just used Team Rocket, since the only real difference is the Team's names), Ghetsis never brings out his awesome Hydreigon, Zekrom is left out of the storyline for some reason, Reshiram never does much and is freed from Team Plasma's control machine with a single attack from Pikasue, and of course the most insulting part of all, the writers decide to bring back Ash's Charizard only to have it do NOTHING of importance during the entire Plasma arc, heck, they tricked us into believing that there would be an epic Charizard vs Reshiram showdown with the opening but it NEVER happens! Yes, that's right, who gets to save the day? Not Zekrom, not Charizard, but effing Pikachu. Whoop dee f***ing do. Haven't seen THAT before.

And yeah, there's this Island Filler arc but after being disappointed twice like this I'm officially giving up with Best Wishes and I decided not to watch it, besides the Island Arc is all just filler anyway. Seriously, this is probably the worst saga ever. I hope X and Y fixes things *crosses fingers*

I hope X & Y does better too. And yes. The Unova saga is probably the most subconsciously bad in the history of the anime.

Yes Best Wishes was god-awful, though in my opinion it was actually fairly decent at the beginning, but alas... Which really sucks because I liked a lot of the Pokémon that Ash caught in Unova, I think they have interesting personalities ad it's sad that many of them didn't get enough screen time (I'm looking at you, Boldore, Unfezant and Palpitoad).

I'm a girl ^^; But sure, why not? I'll check out your fanfics :)

Ash will never win every league(did he won,at least once?) and never grew up. for 20 years! lol

I think im the only one that dont like how trip handled by the writers.He has potential to be good rival to ash and doesnt have much screen time because of pointless fillers. I wish they should remain him at the final battle with ash in unova league.

I want a female rival next at least in gen 6.
